Nursing Post Graduate Education (NPGE) funding

All Registered Nurses who work within the Counties Manukau Health area - including Primary Health Care, Hospice and Aged Care facilities are eligible to apply for Health Workforce New Zealand (HWNZ) application funding (formerly CTA funding) to undertake Post Graduate Education (Level 8).

Any queries about the HWNZ funding can be directed to Dianne Barnhill, Nurse Coordinator Post Graduate Education at Middlemore Hospital.

When is the next HWNZ application round?

  • The next round for HWNZ applications for Semester 1, 2015 is open:-.
    OPEN 18th August 2014

  • CLOSES: CMhealth staff-5th Sept, non-CMhealth staff-19th Sept. 

  • If Counties Manukau staff - send application form to your Line manager (CNM, TL etc) or if a senior nurse to your CND.

  • If Primary Health Care Nurses send to:

  • Karyn Sangster, Nurse Leader Primary Health Care, Building 3/19 Lambie Drive, Private Bag 94052, South Auckland Mail Centre, Manukau 2240

  • All Others send to:

  • Nursing Administration Clerk, NPDU, 3rd Floor, Esme Green Building, Middlemore Hospital
