Over ten per cent of NZ young people (aged 12-24 years) live in Counties-Manukau. CMDHB is working with our young people to improve their health and wellbeing.

These services include:

• Specific school based health services

• Public health nursing for young people funded directly by the Ministry of Health 

• Secondary specialist services for young people admitted to hospital and referrals for young people

• Community based youth specific programmes/clinics that are provided in a community/primary care setting

• Other projects directly funded by the Ministry of Health
