Board Committees
The DHB Board
established a number of committees of which the
following three are required by legislation:
There are two
Manawhenua representatives on each statutory Board
Committee. There is at least one representative
from the Pacific Health Advisory Committee (PHAC) on the
Community & Public Health Advisory Committee (CPHAC) and
the Disability Support Advisory Committee (DiSAC).
In addition, the Board has established
four other committees:
The following three committees are not public
meetings and therefore no meeting schedules, agendas
or minutes are published.

Advisory Committee (HAC)

Meetings are held monthly in
public (except
December) at 9am to 12pm on the 4th Tuesday of
the month.

Disability
Support Advisory Committee (DiSAC)
This committee's Functions,
Responsibilities, Accountability, Committee
Membership, Quorum, Frequency of Meetings and
Management Support details can be found on the

Meetings are held monthly (except
in months where Regional DiSAC meetings are
held) from 12:30 - 3:30pm, usually on the 2nd
Wednesday of the
month.

The Regional DiSAC forum (a 2002
initiative of the Metro Auckland DiSACs) are
held quarterly, and convened and coordinated by
the Northern DHB Support Agency (NDSA).
DiSAC members from the four northern
region DHBs attend. The forums promote a
regionally consistent approach to the
implementation of the NZ Disability Strategy
through regular dialogue between the local
DiSACs and linkages with the Disability
Directorate of the Ministry of Health.
Meetings are held quarterly.
