The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommend that pregnant women are offered the Pfizer vaccine at any stage of pregnancy. This is because the risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19 is significantly higher for pregnant women and their unborn baby.

This coming Wednesday, 9 June New Zealand Nursing Organisation (NZNO) members are scheduled to take part in a national strike. This involves a full withdrawal of labour from 11am to 7pm which will have a significant impact on the services CM Health is able to provide.
Until tomorrow, Wednesday 9 June eight urgent care clinics are offering free urgent care to the following people in the Counties Manukau Health area:
Children under 14;
People over 65;
Community services card holders;
High user health card holders; and
People living in a quintile five area.
