Celebrating Linda Tucker and her 47 years of service

After 47 years of service to CM Health, Linda Tucker, Lab Technician in our Biochemistry Department, is heading off to a well-earned retirement.

Her dedication to the Biochemistry Department for nearly half a century has given her a front-row view to the evolution of technology utilised in this space but it is something closer to the heart that has left the biggest impression.

“Yes, there have been some amazing advances in technology but what I have enjoyed most about working here at CM Health is the awesome people I have shared my time with.

“I have especially enjoyed the opportunities to teach and upskill staff.”

Brian Raill, Senior Scientist, Biochemistry, lauded the contributions Linda had made to the Department.

“Linda has been outstanding especially with her skills in protein electrophoresis and she will be missed by all of us, especially those she trained so very well.

“We all wish her the very best in this new phase of her life.”

Thank you for your many years of service Linda.

We hope you enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
