Congratulations to Lawrence Kingi, Diabetic Podiatrist, who was awarded the Leadership Award at the National Podiatry Conference held 19-20 June 2021. One particular protocol I have for each patient is to kaupare their individual space integrity with whanaungatanga and encouragement. They will eventually accept their own hauora responsibility." says Lawrence.
Caran Barratt-Boyes, Diabetes Community Co-ordinator, reflects on her colleague winning the award, “He helps to develop and encourage his colleagues to deliver best practice patient outcomes and is a huge asset to his profession and the organisation."
