Elective surgery and outpatient clinic open at Counties Manukau

Media Statement - Counties Manukau Health has been the centre of the Delta community outbreak in Auckland. Like all health providers, COVID-19 alert level restrictions required changes to our scheduling of services including elective surgery and outpatient clinics.

Now that the Auckland region has moved to Alert Level 3 for at least two weeks, CM Health will recommence elective surgery appointments. Most outpatient clinic appointments will remain as video or telephone appointments

To continue to ensure our hospitals and clinics are safe our no visitor policy remains in place. No visiting is permitted at alert level 3 except in essential and compassionate grounds, or for birthing partners.

All patients will be screened upon entry, and masks must be worn at all times.
