NZNO strike to impact some CM Health services; patient safety top priority

This coming Wednesday, 9 June New Zealand Nursing Organisation (NZNO) members are scheduled to take part in a national strike.

This involves a full withdrawal of labour from 11am to 7pm which will have a significant impact on the services CM Health is able to provide.

CM Health has been working hard to manage any impacts of this action with our patients’ safety throughout this period our priority.

Non-urgent surgeries, procedures and outpatient clinics will be postponed, but will be rescheduled as soon as possible. All impacted patients have been or will be contacted via text, email, or letter.

Our Emergency Department is open and we are here if you need us but please keep our emergency departments for emergencies only.

Our subsidised Urgent Care clinics are open for business as usual so please visit one of these clinics for any non-emergency.

Please note: Over Queen’s Birthday weekend through to Tuesday, 8 June we are offering free urgent care at eight clinics to eligible people in our community – so please seek the right care for your condition early.

If you have any questions or are unsure if your scheduled appointment is cancelled please contact the Customer Service Team on 0800 266 513.
