We’re back to Level 1 so scan in and keep your community safe

With our move back to Alert Level 1, visitor screening is no longer taking place at Counties Manukau Health facilities.

We ask all our visitors, including outpatients and support persons, to use the NZ COVID Tracer app to scan our QR code each time you visit our hospital and clinics.

This code will be displayed at the entrances to all CM Health facilities.

We also ask visitors to use hand gel when entering the hospital, to follow our visitor policy, and to stay home and call Healthline on 0800 611 116 if you feel unwell.

Our Visitor Policy

As has been the case for some time, visiting hours are between 2pm and 8pm with no more than two people (including children) permitted per patient at one time.

A key support person can visit between 8am and 8pm or at all times by arrangement for compassionate reasons – this must be arranged with the charge nurse of the ward your family member or friend is on.

Children under the age of 16 may visit between 2pm and 8pm for compassionate reasons but again, only by agreement with the charge nurse of the ward your family member or friend is on.

Thank you

We know this can be a difficult time for many of you who want to gather and be there for your loved one.

Please remember that this policy is in place to ensure your mum, dad, tamariki, moko, sister, brother, cousin or friend are provided the best possible care.
