What it means to be in ICU with COVID-19 at Middlemore

You’ve seen the news. You’ve heard the call out for New Zealanders to get vaccinated. The message from Middlemores clinical team is clear - please get vaccinated to avoid hospital admission and help prevent life threatening complications from COVID-19 related illnesses.

To keep things real, we’ve filmed some of our clinical leaders, and in this video Dr Anna Mulvaney provides an overview of what it takes to care for COVID-19 patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Middlemore Hospital.
