There are various outpatient clinics across Counties Manukau district. Patients are referred to an outpatient clinic by their own GP or by follow-up from hospital care. There is no charge for the service for NZ citizens or permanent residents. Proof of eligibility will be required.

It's a good idea to plan for your appointment in advance so you are prepared and know where to go.

By free shuttle service for staff and patients

A free shuttle service runs every hour and half hour between Middlemore Hospital and Manukau SuperClinic. Click here for more information.

By St Johns Health Shuttle

A Monday to Friday shuttle service is operated by St John in some areas of Counties Manukau. The service is free (koha/donations are welcome) and staffed with reliable, fully-trained drivers that pick up patients, take them to their appointment, and drop them home safely again. Manukau SuperClinic

Manukau SuperClinic  provides specialist outpatient appointments and day procedures.  There are no emergency or primary care (family doctor) services available on-site.

There are nine Modules at Manukau SuperClinic™.  Services provided in each Module are:

Community Mental Health Service

Specialist Community Health Services supports patients and their whaanau by providing healthcare close to where patients live.
